Tax Deductions for Real Estate Investors
Hey, it's that unpleasant tax season again, but the good news is that real estate investors have some tax breaks not available to every John, Dick, and Harry. Here's are some tax deductions for real estate investors, and homeowners are wise to take a look as well, as many of these deductions are also available to you:
-mortgage interest
-property management fees
-hazard insurance premiums
-private mortgage insurance (taken directly from your mortgage payment)
-repairs on rental properties (for livability)
-depreciation (as if it dropped to zero value over 27.5 years)
-there are others, so ask your accountant about them.

Best of luck minimizing your tax bill to good ol' Uncle Sam,
